We are constantly asked what white paint we use so we decided to do one big blog post to try and answer as many questions as we could! The right white (in our opinion) is a neutral true white and we wanted to let you know what shades we turn to first when we are looking for a clean crisp white. Our best suggestion is to test, test, test! Pick up small cans of your favorites and sample the paints on your wall near each other, then observe at various times of the day to see how they reflect different light in the room. We just painted our showroom and offices in Dunn Edwards White (DEW380) and it made a huge difference, everything feels so bright and airy! If you have any other questions, please leave them in the comments section!
this is beyond the most perfect how to/what to use paint summary EVER and I thank you! will be pinning and saving immediately.
Thank you so much!!
Can you share which lightbulb emits the white light you referred to in your last statement? Thanks.
For white light you want to look for lightbulbs over 5000K (heres a good one at 6500k https://www.1000bulbs.com/search/?q=spiral+CFL+6500K) the higher the kelvin, the whiter the light will be! The GE Reveal lightbulbs make a big difference too and they are much more affordable (but not completely white).
My gosh. Thank you.
what color white would you recommend using on shiplap in laundry room with white appliances?
